We only had a relatively minor job; fixing a radiator, sorting an air lock and unblocking a sink, but Sally & Lorraine both went about it as professionally as you could.

From the start, Lorraine was responsive to my enquiry and came round promptly to quote. She was very open with the quote, and happy to make changes as I’d requested amends and we never felt we were being ripped off.

The communications throughout were the best I’ve experienced – both in terms of being responsive, but also in getting reminders the day before and morning of, updating with the ETA. Sally then arrived at the time originally suggested.

Sally was friendly and professional, explaining what she was going to do in a way I could understand. She went about the job quickly and cleanly (no mess whatsoever) and kept us informed with what she was thinking.

At one point Sally had identified that the valves of the radiator probably didn’t need replacing, but she could if we wanted everything new. She was honest with the difference in cost and didn’t pressure me into thinking I needed to spend more, which was very much appreciated.

Overall, I cannot recommend Sally’s Pipe Dream enough and will definitely use her for larger jobs in the future!

Sally has done several jobs for me recently. She replaced a leaking kitchen mixer tap, then I asked her back to renew my toilet flush and replace my bathroom basin and bath taps.

Sally fixed a leaky shower for me. Sounds like an easy job a quick washer replacement, but due to how it was fitted and corrosion, it was more complicated.

Sally didn’t give up, along with her office companion, and figured out a fix.

Made my shower look brand new as she replaced some extra parts for no additional charge, so the new owner could benefit.

Was a massive relief as I was worried about it for ages.

Sally fitted my new kitchen tap and sorted a leak on my kitchen waste pipes.

Excellent service, and Lorraine kept us informed of the time that Sally would be with us.

Also discussed with Sally about changing my bathroom to a shower room. She had some good ideas.

I recently arranged for Sally’s Pipe Dream to take a look at my Mum’s toilet after it had stopped flushing.

From initial contact to completion, the service we received was 5*. Professional, reliable and very reasonably priced.

My mum felt Sally was really honest with her about parts and cost, and she really liked her approach and manner. Lorraine was really responsive (even took the time to reply to me whilst on her annual holiday), kept me updated of Sally’s timescale on the day and was able to find a pretty much like-for-like match to my mum’s previous toilet measurements to avoid her having to replace flooring and tiles.

For my Mum, it was particularly nice to have labourers in the house that made her feel comfortable, at ease and whom she trusted.

My mum commented on the cleanliness of Sally’s work and said her bathroom was “sparkling” after.

We will always be using Sally’s Pipe Dream for any future plumbing work.

Sally and Lorraine removed the limescale from the cold water tank in my loft.

To my surprise, there was a lot more limescale than originally thought!

Sally came to diagnose a problem I was having with my central heating where hot water was bubbling back up into the F&E (header) tank in the loft. It was very disconcerting being woken up by something that sounded like a kettle boiling over my head.

After a thorough investigation, Sally was able to reassure me this was due to a blockage in some pipework (old central heating system) and not a spit coil in the hot water cylinder.

Sally was punctual, professional and friendly, tidy and respectful and the service was a fixed fee to diagnose the problem. Even though she was there for a good while throughout her investigation, I didn’t feel like she was in a rush to get on with another job, and I believe she would have been there until she had found the cause. She does get very booked up, and I can see why.

Also, I believe it’s worth noting Lorraine who deals with the admin and appointments. She is very friendly and efficient and helped to make the whole experience a very good one. Probably the best experience in terms reliable, “does what it says on the tin” service I’ve had for some time and Sally and Lorraine make a great duo.

I have just had a total bathroom refit from Sally and Lorraine and couldn’t have met two nicer people.

Sally is an extremely skilled plumber who fitted all the pipework and bathroom suite to perfection.

I am so pleased with the end result and the bathroom is transformed.

We called Sally one morning last month about a couple of our taps, which were on their last legs, and she was able to come in the afternoon, and we very quickly had lovely new bathroom basin taps.

She came back the following week to do the kitchen tap, which had had to be ordered, and again worked very quickly and efficiently, explaining everything as she went.

So after putting up with dodgy taps for ages, it was all sorted quickly, efficiently and at very reasonable prices. I would recommend Sally as your first choice of plumber and will definitely be using her again when required.

From the first initial enquiry, communication was excellent. Both Lorraine and Sally visited to quote and check the requirements for my shower installation. Both very friendly and helpful.

The work was carried out to a very high standard with lots of attention to detail. Throughout the installation, I was kept informed of any issues identified, mainly due to a very poor previous installation and all rectified by Sally.

I’m currently preparing my house to sell. I needed several small jobs doing.

Trying to get someone to come round is a complete nightmare. Sally was the complete opposite, turned up bang on time, fixed my plumbing jobs, was a joy to chat to, and literally saved me some money because she was so organised.
